First I heard the plop.
"Rocky, do you need help washing your hands?"
Clearly, I thought that he had put a toy in the toilet and I would fish it out in a minute. I was, after all, reading blogs that I am completely addicted to.
"yeah, I (inaudible)... soap"
"Leah, go help your brother please, and make sure he didn't drop anything in the toilet"
Leah: "mommy, the soap is in the toilet"
"Rocky, did you wash your hands?"
"yes"
Rocky, did you wash your hands in the toilet?"
"yes! I used soap!"
Oh my! The good news is, he made sure he used soap! In other good news, he is almost completely potty trained! It didn't take as long as I thought, but we still need to catch on to the poopy. He has been dry most mornings but I am not ready to stop with the pull-ups at night. I have about 6 left so I will probably just not buy more. He is even telling us when he needs to go, goes by himself and washes his own hands. (I guess we have to work on that too!) It seemed to just click one day so I am sure the same will happen w/ #2! He had a great birthday party that I still need to post pictures of. We had family in from out of town and lots of kids!
Lots is changing around here! We just decided on a new school for Leah next year. It's another small Christian school but it's closer to us. The school she is going to now is a little bigger but our main concern is the water. The water there is being investigated in a string of Leukemia cases. They just unveiled some new information about the investigation and Erin Brochovich is even involved. She has been on bottled water only while she's been there but it still scares me.
I have also stopped doing hair. I have been doing it from home for family and friends for 4 years and I am to the point that I hate it, and it takes up too much of my precious time with Derek. It's so strange that I am done doing something I loved after 12 years! It's very freeing though! Some people aren't happy about it, but most-especially moms- are very supportive! I have a couple more colors to do on Tuesday and then I'm done! Yay!
We are still in search of our dream home, so I'll keep ya posted! Have a great night, and I'll post some pics tomorrow!

OMGoodness...that is too funny about the soap in the toilet. LOL
Scary about the water too.
Still searching for the dream home? it is out there...just waiting.
Hi, thanks for stopping by the manor, and deciding to follow! I would love to follow you along too :) It's nice to have new 'guests'! Your children are super adorable! I love the potty training story...boys are sure different than girls! Alex took much longer than Emily. she pretty much trained herself! She is much more independent than Alex, and Alex could care less about doing anything on his own! LOL! Nice getting to know you! I hope the water situation gets figured out and answers are found! Very scary!
