Okay, so I am a little behind! Derek turned 4 on the 10th! I cannot believe that I have a 4 and an almost 8 year old! I am completely in love with both stages right now for completely different reasons. I could literally sit and talk, read and teach Derek for HOURS right now because he is so interesting! He is getting a sense of humor and will catch on to every little thing. I think I will title this age "I get it"! Leah is changing in more subtle but definite ways. She is more and more interested in what I am doing than playing so this summer is going to be a ton of fun! I'm really hoping that the porch is done in time to start planting flowers!

I wish I would have gotten more pictures but there were a ton of kids and balloons and wrapping paper distracting me! I love it when we all get together but it's crazy how much more chaotic it gets each time!! We are ready for outside cookouts!!
