It's time!

Oh my! I can't believe it's been since June!! I read other blogs EVERY SINGLE DAY and haven't bothered to post my own!!

I cannot even begin to update you from JUNE but I'll try to recap a little...

Leah is in second grade! She started a new school this year and we absolutely love it. It is a small Christian school like she was in before but we already feel more at home here. She is really being challenged with her school work as well as spiritually, which we are very thankful for! She is an excellent reader and writer. She learned cursive easier than when she learned to print and has amazing handwriting. She still (and probably always will) struggles in math. It never came easy for me either!! She is am amazing little girl who loves the Lord, loves learning about the Bible and loves her family and friends with all of her heart. We are going to be getting her involved with the local theatre here this Spring... they are doing The Wizard of Oz. She is really excited!

Derek is almost 4 and still all boy!! Since the last time we "talked" he has gotten 11 stitches in his chin and tubes in his ears. We could call him our deductible child :) He is always up to something! If things get too quiet I know he's probably around the corner with a loaded NERF gun waiting to "get" me!! He is silly, sweet, loving, tough, super smart, and always cuddly at night. I think he is going to be an engineer. He loves to take things apart and see how they work. When he learns something he never forgets it!!

I have an amazing family!! Mike is an amazing husband, father and worker! We are still landlords and most of the time we love it! Still looking for our dream house in the country, although I don't know why we bother! When it's God's timing, He will lead us to the perfect one!! I am starting to do hair again in order to contribute a little to becoming debt free this year! Life here is busy, hilarious, hard, tiring, and amazing all at the same time!!! That's all for now! I'll try to make this more of a priority!
